Baggage Handling Systems
Terminal 3 of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport
The T3 terminal of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is designed with an annual passenger flow of 26.2 million. The baggage handling system adopts the world's advanced automatic pallet sorter automatic sorting system + centralized security check + RFID full-process tracking system, and the baggage conveying length is about 11 kilometers. The installation started in March of 2016 and the one-time transfer was successful and the whole system, which has been running well so far, was put into operation on August 31, 2017. The project has overcome many hardships and took only 1 year and 6 months from the installation to operation, setting a new record for the construction speed of China's large international hub airport baggage handling system.
